About the act
Velvet Relay is a seven-piece Columbus party band built around two lead singers, a live saxophone, and a pocket-first rhythm section. Its set moves easily between soul staples, disco, 1990s singalongs, and dance-pop, giving different generations a reason to find their way to the same floor.
The band shapes the evening to the room: a warm opening set, clear announcements when needed, and tightly paced dance sets once the celebration is underway. Weddings, company parties, and fundraising galas are its natural setting, with a coordinated stage look and enough musical range to keep the night feeling personal.
