Privacy Policy

This policy explains how American Artist Alliance legal entity name (“American Artist Alliance”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses information through americanartistalliance.com (the “Site”).
Information you give us
- Artist applications: act name, contact name, email, phone, city and state, act type, genres, lineup, set lengths, song list, links (EPK, video, streaming and social profiles), fee range, travel radius, availability, gear and paperwork answers, notes, and any file you upload (for example an EPK or one-sheet).
- Booking inquiries: your name, organization, email, phone, event location, dates, event type, budget, expected crowd size, music preferences and notes.
- Vendor inquiries: company and contact details, website, location, services, service area, insurance status and notes.
- Contact messages: your name, email, topic and message.
Information collected automatically
When you submit a form we store a one-way hash of your IP address (used only to limit spam and repeated submissions), your browser's user-agent string and the page you submitted from. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. If analytics are switched on, describe the provider (Plausible or Google Analytics 4), what it collects and whether it uses cookies.
How we use information
- To review artist applications and match acts with venues, events and buyers.
- To respond to booking, vendor and general inquiries.
- To share an artist's promotional materials (for example the EPK, links and video) with prospective buyers when proposing that act.
- To prevent spam and abuse, and to operate and improve the Site.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, for example collecting a W-9 before paying an artist.
How we share information
We don't sell personal information. We share it only:
- With venues, event buyers and production partners, where needed to propose or deliver a booking.
- With service providers who run the Site for us: website hosting (Vercel), form and file storage (Supabase), email delivery (Resend)and analytics, if enabled. They process data on our behalf.
- If required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Retention
How long you keep applications, inquiries and uploaded files (for example: active roster records while the relationship lasts; declined applications deleted after N months).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing privacy contact email. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia or other states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights. State-specific rights language to be confirmed by counsel.
Security
Submissions are sent over HTTPS and stored with access restricted to our team. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and shared only through time-limited links. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Performers under 18 should apply with a parent or guardian.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
